Integrated Auto Sampling

Want to improve influent monitoring and be able to
proactively anticipate and respond to problems?

Want to identify problematic industrial discharge sources and have the evidence to back you?

Want to enhance your pretreatment programs and  protect both your infrastructure and community?

The SENTRY real-time BOD and biomass health wastewater quality monitoring platform is flexible enough to integrate add-on technology to deliver further value at WWTPs and anaerobic digester plants.

For example, in September 2025, SENTRY partnered with C.E.C. Innovations (C.E.C.) to combine each company’s unique sensing, sampling, and rapid analysis technologies to help WWTPs overcome ongoing variable influent and biological system disruption often leading to poor treatment performance.

SENTRY’s real-time wastewater quality monitoring sensors and system are installed at the treatment plant headworks and then C.E.C.’s event-based auto sampler is integrated to improve on traditional sampling and remove the guess work tied to disruptive  events.

This “sample when it counts” approach combined with C.E.C.’s proprietary analytical methods trained on a database of tens of thousands of unique wastewater samples allows each municipality to define exactly which compounds were present and responsible for each upset event and what was the specific industrial source of each one.

If you’d like to learn how you too can get a data-rich, evidence-based strategy when it comes to improving influent monitoring and identifying problematic industrial dischargers, contact us to learn more about our combined sensor-auto sampler solution.

The SENTRY-C.E.C. solution has greatly reduced excessive sampling efforts for our wastewater personnel. We are now able to have a sample collected immediately when the plant is hit with an industrial discharge identified by the SENTRY sensor. This has transformed how our facility monitors and responds to industrial discharge events. Based on C.E.C.’s innovative compound-based analysis it has allowed us to not only identify the industrial source, but it has identified industrial dischargers that were not even on our radar.

Our robust bio-electrode sensors go where no sensor has gone before helping municipalities, industry, and agriculture gain early-on, always-on insights into biological processes that exist wherever water is used, stored, or treated. Get the data you need to make smarter water and wastewater treatment decisions.
