Drinking Water

The SENTRY™ signal can detect very low rates of carbon consumption. We have sensors installed in a drinking water system in California that monitors finished water quality. That system measures carbon consumption rates that are less than 1% of the rate typical of untreated domestic wastewater.

The sensitivity of our technology means that we can successfully measure contamination in reservoirs and impoundments, natural lakes and streams, stormwater collection and treatment systems, and water recycling processes.​

The ability to measure low concentrations of pollutants in "clean" water shows great promise in monitoring the quality of aqueous environment in cities and towns around the world. ​
